Our Family During Ayla's Second Battle With Cancer and After.

Who We Are

From left to right: Garrett (11), Richie (14), Rich, Lauren, Ayla (17), and Briella (6). Taken the summer of 2024 after Ayla was released from Primary Children's Hospital following her bone marrow transplant and battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

We are Rich and Lauren Vengels. Ayla is our cancer warrior and has been in remission for 17 months following a successful bone marrow transplant. Our other children are Richie (14), Garrett (11), and Briella (6).

At Bee The Hope©, we are dedicated to uplifting families affected by pediatric cancer. Our organization focuses on providing financial assistance and emotional support during difficult times, while advocating for greater awareness and research in the field.
